Igor is a tea master from Astrakhan. Before Moychay Phuket he worked in tea houses, and today he brews tea for guests on Boat Avenue.
How a ceremony goes
Choose your tea
Tell the tea master what you like, or simply point at a jar. You don't need to know any names.
Brewing, step by step
The tea master brews it gong fu cha style and explains the brewing steps, the teaware and the tea itself as you go.
Stay a while
The ceremony takes about 60 minutes. After that you can stay at the table for up to an hour to relax.
Ceremonies for hotels, teams and private events
We also hold tea ceremonies and tastings outside the tea house – for hotel guests, private groups, client meetings and residents' events, in English or Russian.
The duration, number of guests, host, teaware, space and travel are agreed for each event.
